Commercial work taught me to prepare properly, make decisions quickly and keep filming when circumstances change. I've directed international productions for brands including Ruroc, Subaru and Superdry, directed films featuring Neymar, and travelled with cameras from the Arctic Circle to the Andes. There's also material I filmed in Iceland, commissioned for a BBC Attenborough documentary.
Weddings need the same technical judgement but a very different presence. There is no crew surrounding the couple, no repeated take and no reason to turn the day into a set. The useful part is knowing where to stand, recognising what is about to happen and being ready without asking anyone to perform it again.

Enquiry
Tell me the date, venue and a little about the two of you. I take on a limited number of weddings each year so each film receives the attention it needs.
The Call
A proper conversation, not a scripted sales call. We talk about the shape of the day, what matters to you and which film format fits it.
The Day
Coverage and crew depend on the film you choose. The footprint stays deliberately small: prepared cameras, minimal direction and no attempt to turn the wedding into a production set.
The Edit
Every film is cut individually, with its own pacing, colour and sound. There are no preset edits or templates deciding what the day should feel like.
The Film
Your finished film is delivered in the format included with your package, with an online link for sharing. Physical presentation and longer-form delivery are included with the relevant options.

Yes. I travel throughout the UK and abroad, including a destination wedding filmed around Tivat in Montenegro. Send the venue and date and I'll explain any travel considerations clearly.
Will it just be you filming?
For the Social Package and Highlights, I normally film alone. For the larger packages, I review the timeline, locations and coverage before deciding whether additional support would be useful. At a compact wedding I can usually work alone. For more involved schedules, I may bring an assistant to help with equipment and setup, or a second filmmaker where important moments happen simultaneously.

We take on a limited number of weddings each year, so every couple gets full attention. Dates fill quickly, especially peak summer and autumn weekends, so the earlier you enquire the better.
What's included with Super 8?
Real analogue film, woven into whichever package you choose, plus the whole graded camera roll supplied separately. No sound, trimming or music on the raw roll.
What's included in every package?
Every option includes professional filming and post-production appropriate to that format. Coverage, crew, film length, ceremony and speech delivery, physical presentation and social edits vary by package.
